Easy to make Halloween spiders

These are great fun, easy-to-make and edible Halloween decorations for your Halloween party or to give as treats to your spooky trick or treat callers.

  Step 1

  We bought some stripey pipe-cleaners and we're using a red lolly for the spiders body. You can use any colour lolly you fancy, but we think the larger ones look best!

  Step 2

  This is really easy. All you need to do is fold the pipe cleaner in half and then cut it into two.

  Step 3

  We need to do this for the other pipe cleaners, so we have cut each pipe cleaner into two so we now have four.

• 

  Step 4

  Now twists each pipe cleaner over the lolly stick to make the eight legs.

• 

  Step 5

  Make sure you pull the pipe cleaners tight around the lolly stick, don't worry about the shape you can adjust that later.

  Step 6

  We used some old carpet tape to make the googly eyes very sticky or you could use a glue gun.

  Step 7

  Now we stick our eyes in place and our spider is looking great!

  Step 8

  You might need some help to shape the legs but it was easy to bend and shape them.

• 

  Step 9

  And we're done! Now we just have to wait for the Halloween night!
