About Safe Shot Coaching
We are a small shooting school based in the Tamar Valley, about 18 miles from Plymouth.
Clay shooting is becoming a popular sport, it can be great fun and you don't need to shoot live quarry, but if you intend to then it is best to learn how to do it humanely and safely. We operate in the beautiful Tamar Valley about 17 miles from Plymouth, we specialise in introducing newcomers both to clay shooting and to live quarry shooting for the purposes of game shooting and vermin control. Our Ethos Our coach Stewart Lees is a keen game shooter and countryman with a great knowledge and empathy with the countryside, he is a highly skilled and attentive teacher, who prides himself on getting even the most nervous of pupils to achieve success. Our shooting ground is not purpose built for clay shooting and therefore we do not offer facilities for competitive shooting. What we do offer is a small, friendly and unintimidating envronment in which learners can really benefit from very flexible personal and professional coaching on a small scale. We believe that hand in hand with the sport of shooting there should be an apreciation and respect for the countryside so as well as teaching you to hit clays and ultimately live quarry we also run courses which introduce beginners to live quarry shooting, game identification, safe conduct, etiquet and even how to prepare and cook what you shoot. What We Offer We share our facilities with a countryside activity centre so in addition to clay shooting we offer a variety of multi activity sessions which can include, Archery and Off Road Driving. We have a range of packages suitable for Stag Parties, Birthday Celebrations and Corporate Hosptality Days.
