Even if you've played paintball before, nothing compares to the atmosphere at the Taskforce site in Cowbridge. This isn't just a field with a few crates; it's a dedicated paintball combat arena. With thirty acres of bunkers, a village, a real helicopter, a bridge with aerial walkways, a munitions dump, tree houses, and more, you're in for an exhilarating day out. There's also a 'safe area' for resting between games. WEAPONS AND AMMUNITION At the start of the day, you'll receive all the necessary equipment, including combat clothing, a full face mask, goggles, and your weapon. Our state-of-the-art paintball markers, 'Inferno semi-automatics', are powered by an air canister, providing up to 500 shots per fill. We will provide your first 100 paint pellets, and additional paint pellets, smoke grenades, and paint grenades can be purchased. We'll keep a running tally of your ammo usage and tot it up at the end of the day. The air to run your gun is free of charge. You'll be briefed, given some target practice, and then taken out into the jungle for the fun to really start. Each battle takes place at a different location, alternating between attacking and defending. Game objectives, which vary with each game, will be issued by our qualified marshals who are there to supervise and assist at all times. SAFETY When you take a hit, and you surely will, you're out of that particular game, but it won't be for long. Use the time to recover and replenish your stocks before the next game. You must keep your mask and goggles on at all times when a game is in progress until you are back inside the safe area. You will be fully briefed on all safety aspects at the start of the day. Safety is of the utmost importance, and we ask you to follow our instructions. We want you to have fun, and you most definitely will; we also want you to know that Taskforce is not at all dangerous as long as you stick to the rules. Taskforce incorporates some of this exciting and rapidly growing sport’s most innovative features. We believe our undulating woodland site is one of the best in the country, a view shared by many visiting paintball combat veterans.
