1966 Ford Mustang V8 For Self-Drive Hire Cruise around in style in our stunning 1966 Ford Mustang! This iconic car has a soundtrack to match, with a massive 4.7l V8 engine it’s the ultimate 60s muscle car! Seating for up to five people with an automatic gearbox, this car is a great easy way to go touring in style. Ideal for weddings and proms! Taster (4 hour) hire includes 50 miles. Daily hire includes 100 miles per day. 80p/mile overage. Security deposit (credit/debit card pre-authorisation only, cancelled on safe return of the car) – £1000 (or reduced to £250 if you purchase Collision Damage Waiver at £15/24 hours). Insurance requirements: Driver age 25-75. UK/EU license held for 2+ years. No license suspensions within the past 3 years. No more than ONE fault incident within the past 3 years. No more than 2 convictions of 3 points per conviction. BA/DD/UT convictions cannot be accepted. Insurance excess – £1500 (Reduced to £250 if you purchase Collision Damage Waiver at £15/24 hours). All of our classic, vintage and sports cars are available for wedding hire, prom hire or just for fun in the New Forest, Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury, Bournemouth, Poole and Portsmouth areas. To hire this car, we will require: 1) A copy of the driver’s driving license and any extra driver (extra driver is +£15/day) 2) An online ‘check code’ for your driving license – Click here to obtain a check code 3) Two proofs of address from the following list (at least one of them from the ‘primary’ list): Primary Proof of Address: • Electricity • Water • Gas • Broadband/Landline • Council tax • TV licence • Bank Statement • Credit card bill / statement • Mortgage statement • Polling card • HMRC self-assessment / tax credit Secondary Proof of Address: • Student loan • Shotgun licence • Payslip • Mobile Phone Bills • Pension letters • Car Finance Statement • Loan Statement • Property deed An annual council tax bill will also be accepted.

What's included? Fully comprehensive insurance cover is included for all hires, we allow 100 miles per day (see individual cars for full details), full breakdown cover with free recovery, a guide and information pack and a full briefing to familiarise you with the car. Can you deliver and collect to my hotel or event? Yes, we can. We have a delivery calculator for this service: https://www.newforestclassichire.co.uk/delivery/ Can I come to see the cars first before I book? Yes, just get in touch to make an appointment, we would be happy to show you around the car in advance of your booking. What's the age limit? Most of our cars require the driver to be between 25-75, and to have held your license for at least 2 years. Some of our more powerful cars require the driver to be aged 30-75 (check the individual car for full details). Can I add an extra driver? Yes, we can add an extra driver to any vehicle on hire. Please contact us for a quote for this service as it differs for each vehicle. Do all convertible cars have a hood included? All convertibles in our fleet have a fully functional hood or weather equipment, with the exception of our Morgan 3 wheeler. If it rains and you are in the Morgan…. you get wet! We give a full demonstration of how to use the hood on each of our cars as part of the briefing. Can your cars be chauffeur drive for a wedding or event? Yes, we can provide a suitably dressed driver for weddings, funerals and other events. We can also provide the car ‘dressed’ for weddings, champagne and flowers. Talk to us about what we can do to help. Can I take the car to Europe? Unfortunately our insurance only covers mainland UK. For a special event, we can possibly raise cover for EU trips so please ask and we will try to help. Are the cars easy to drive? Classics are generally as easy to drive as a modern car, albeit with some quirks. We give a full handover and familiarisation for all hires. What happens if I break down? All of our cars are meticulously maintained in our own workshops and we know them all extremely well. However, part of classic motoring does inevitably occasionally involve problems despite our rigorous maintenance regime. If you do have a problem, simply contact us and we will repair at the roadside, or arrange a replacement vehicle for you as soon as possible. For our Morgan 3 Wheeler, our terms are slightly different. For these two cars only, we will allow you to change to another car on the day (availability permitting), or re-schedule to an alternative date (re-schedule can be done once for each hire). Where can I take the car? Classic cars aren’t great on motorways, so our local area in the New Forest, where there’s a blanket 40 mph speed limit, is the perfect getaway without having to worry about keeping up with the traffic. For special events or by prior arrangement, this can be negotiated.
