Professional harpist for wedding ceremonies. Monica Turoni is a distinguished harpist who graduated with honours from the Music Conservatory G. Rossini in Pesaro, Italy. She furthered her studies at the National Academy of St. Cecilia in Rome and the School of Music at Indiana University, USA, where she was awarded the IU Merit Scholarship. Monica holds an Italian Master’s degree with top honours from the Music Conservatory B. Maderna in Cesena. She has studied under renowned harpists such as David Watkins, Susanna Mildonian, and Judith Liber. As a solo and chamber music performer, Monica has premiered several works and performed at prestigious events like the World Harp Congress in Prague and the European Harp Symposium in Perugia. She made her solo debut at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2012. She currently resides and teaches in Scotland. Area: Edinburgh and Fife
