Richie Wickham
Overview
A multi-award-winning compere and personality DJ with over 30 years of experience, Richie Wickham is the ultimate professional for any event.
The vast majority of Richie Wickham's work comes from referrals from his radio and TV work. He has been the main compere for the British Heart Foundation for the last 26 years and spent over 10 years hosting Race for Life events for Cancer Research UK. West London's largest closed road event is the Ealing Half Marathon, and Richie has been the compere since the second year of this prestigious event, now in its 13th year. Richie especially loves all live work and is the perfect choice for awards events where you need a compere who can not only keep the event to time but also manage the audience so their excitement doesn't over-spill! Previously, Richie has worked for the BBC, ITV, ITV Sport, and fronted numerous live roadshow events and countless awards events for every sector of retail and hospitality. He works closely with organisers, sharing his 35+ years of experience to help them exceed their expectations. Richie also offers unrivalled retro discos featuring either 70s, 80s, or 90s themed parties (or a combination of them all), complete with a full video disco, with a giant screen and all the original music videos played - why just hear the hits when you can see them as well! He is a hugely experienced wedding DJ and author of 'Booking The Best DJ For Your Wedding'.
