Magical Mel is CRB checked, fully insured, and holds a first aid certificate. She is qualified in Childcare and Education, along with various other learning programmes for children. With 18 years of experience working with children, she offers a fun-filled learning environment for individuals of all ages and abilities. Her aim is to encourage children to explore their creative side through imagination, fostering confidence and well-being. Wishing you a Magical Day! Events she has organised include Cumbrian Fairy Day, Manor Fairy Day, Millennium Pantomime, and charity events. In 2012, she ran children's sessions at Eden Festival, organised treasure trails, and provided creative workshops for Carlisle Music City. She also delivered Relax Kids sessions and a Toadstool Trail for CN Events at Dunelm Shopping Centre. Magical Mel has worked with Morton Manor to create a Fairy Day, including crafts, a fairy door hunt, storytime, and dancing. She set herself an Olympic Challenge to deliver a Relax Kids session to 700 children for free, which was achieved and featured in the local paper and on the main Relax Kids website. She has visited many schools and pre-schools as Magical Mel, delivering sessions linked to school topics, alongside weekly Relax Kids sessions, Fairy School, and parties.
