I’m a self taught baker from Kidderminster, Worcestershire. Baking was a hobby I picked up from my Great Nan, Rose, she used to bake for all of our family every week and I used to bake with her. After making a few birthday cakes for family and friends Becca’s Cake House was born! I quickly began taking orders for birthdays, weddings, baby showers etc.

We specialise in French Patisserie, modern, elegant cakes. We offer a variety of delicious cakes to suit any celebration well known for their refined and unique taste, whether you need a cake for a birthday or have a specific theme in mind, we will work with you to design your very own cake for your family and friends.

We are bespoke wedding cake makers and do cakes for all other occasions. We also run a teaching school for sugarcraft, cake making and sell retails products to. We cover the whole of East Anglia for wedding cake but for other cakes primarily Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket.

Sweet Essence Cakes was born as a result of my passion for cooking and baking. This journey began by trying to bake a winning fruit cake recipe passed on to me by the baker of this cake.
