We provide a thrilling medieval combat with people fighting for victory in the tournament, and cover the North-East of England (though sometimes further).. Vanguard is a medieval reenactment group (primarily portraying the 13th century) that offers displays of living history and sends to the fields knights and men-at-arms - offering a wide and in-depth portrayal of life and warfare in medieval England. Typically, shows put on by Vanguard are reminiscent of Knights' Tournaments and have several households pitted against each other, before returning to camp to view the civilian side of life.
