Formed during studies at music colleges in London and Surrey, the dynamic Boo Hag Band specialise in creating exciting musical performances for weddings, private parties, corporate and charity events throughout the UK and abroad. With a contemporary and vibrant edge, we offer a bursting repertoire of floor fillers from the Doobie Brothers and Elvis Presley through to Adele and Katy Perry. For more intimate atmospheres or themed events, we also provide jazz, swing and acoustic sets, incorporating a range of music from the 1940s onwards. The band has collected an abundance of experience involving work at some of the UK's most illustrious venues, including Alexandra Palace, Radley College Oxford and Aston Villa FC. We also have a commitment to supporting charitable fundraisers, including work for Oxjam, SW London Summer Fairs and children's charity Rays of Sunshine. Our packages can accommodate any size venue, from small bars to large function and stadium venues. Our most popular set up is our 12 piece which consists of rhythm section (drums, bass guitar, lead guitar & keyboard), percussion, brass section (trumpet, trombone & saxophone) and 4 lead vocalists. If you would like to make the band bigger you could add more instruments for example violin (or a string section – cello, viola etc.), clarinet, extra brass instruments, or additional vocalists. We can also supply amazing lighting and production. Combining DJs, singers and live instruments, this is a fantastically versatile setup, which looks and sounds amazing. Just like The Function Band, our DJ Live setup is available in a range of sizes. Our most popular is the 6 piece which consists of a DJ, saxophone, guitar and 3 lead vocalists. You can make the setup smaller, or bigger by adding additional singers, or instruments including percussion and violin. What is so fantastic about our DJ Live band is that it looks and sounds just like a live band!
