However, the mainstay of our business has always been private individuals celebrating weddings, hen parties, birthdays, and other family gatherings. We are the only murder mystery company in the UK that provides both event services and DIY kits, allowing us to assist with low-budget fundraisers and small gatherings, whatever your budget.

On behalf of DFDS and our guests I would like to say a big thank to Red Herring’s Emma and the team of fabulous actors for entertaining us with Felons, Flappers and Foul Play we held t The Ashbourne Hotel 12th May. Many of our guests had no idea what to expect, but from arriving at the hotel bar when the entertainment started, our guests were fully involved and all named as suspects. This continued until the final decision from each team was taken out of who dunnit! and then the continued discussions of “I told you so!” afterwards. The flow of the evening was very well set up within each course of food and interaction with the guests throughout created great entertainment. The Ashbourne Hotel supplied great food and a first class service, overall a very successful night and great fun, something to be recommended for an informal night for companies and their customers.

We had a fantastic weekend mainly because of the absolutely fabulous murder mystery provided by yourselves on the Saturday. It was absolutely Brilliant! The actors were fantastic and a real hoot. they engaged well with all the guests in a wonderful way and we've had brilliant feedback from everyone who came saying what a memorable night it all was. I particularly want to thank Emma who has worked with me in the run up to the event providing suggestions to make the whole evening such a success. I will be using your services again and I am busy recommending you to everyone and everybody I meet. Do pass on special thanks to the actors who made everything so seamless and so much fun.

I thought I was going to dinner to celebrate my friend, who I had not seen in 19 yrs, turning 40. Imagine my surprise when she added this into the mix! Imagine my bigger surprise when I discovered that she, who lives in LA, had contacted Red Herring Games, ran by an old school-friend back here in the UK! It was only when I saw the back to the script did I realise who had organised everything. It was such fun. A very well organised and written event, brilliantly delivered by Lydia who really engaged with a room full of people she had never met before. The story played out very well, and with only some getting "whodunnit". Everyone there got into the spirit and roles and with no one knowing who had 'dunnit' until the every end. I highly recommend Red Herring Games to everyone, for every kind of event.
