The Royal Alberts In 1966, Bob Dylan performed at the Royal Albert Hall, causing a stir with his use of electric guitars. The Royal Alberts embrace this era, bringing you music from then up to his latest hits. They are neither a look-alike nor a sound-alike band, but they play Dylan's songs with exceptional musicality. Pete, the founder of the band, is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist, and he also plays amazing harmonica solos. A true Dylan enthusiast, Pete shares his wealth of knowledge with the audience in a witty manner as he introduces the songs. Clive, the lead guitarist, produces great sounds for different songs, including slide guitar solos. Jamie, a devotee of the bass guitar, plays exciting bass runs while also providing a solid bass backing during Clive's solos. He also has an excellent singing voice, offering great backing vocals. Becky, the queen of The Royal Alberts, plays drums with both power and sensitivity as required. The Alberts can perform for a total of 90 minutes over 1 or 2 sets. Classic songs include “Hurricane”, “The Ballad of Tom Thumb Blues”, “Jolene”, “Going to Acapulco”, “Senor”, “All Along the Watchtower” and many more. They have their own high-quality digital sound system.
