Norton Green Ceilidh Band are an exciting new band based in Teesside(UK) . They can travel to neighboring counties, including Yorkshire, Durham, Northumberland and Cumbria. All types of venue can be catered for from small pubs to large halls. The P.A. System is suitable for all venues, so all we need is a plug to get started. All the bands P.A. equipment is PAT tested and modern. We have Public Liability Insurance. Do you know anybody getting married this year? If so why not suggest a Ceilidh. Its a great way to break the ice and get to know your in-laws. At the same time you can keep fit and have a good time. So whether it be the Cumberland Square Eight, the Gay Gordons, Bridge of Athlone, Strip the Willow or St Bernards or anything you rrequest, the NORTON GREEN are the band for the occasion. I walk you through all the dance, step by step before the music is played even a pure novice can join in no problem, even when the band are playing i keep on calling all the way through the dance, to make it as easy as possible for all. I was also the founder member of the Cleveland Folk Dance Club Anne Jones Accordionist I have been playing the dances for over 40 years and worked with lots of bands during this time. I play a good selection of Irish, Scottish, English and American all at a good dance tempo. Between dancing I play a variety of music from foxtrots, sing a longs, ballads and modern.
