Retro DJ are are based in Hilperton near Trowbridge, Wiltshire and cover the South West of England. We are full time, registered and professional wedding DJ specialists so are available to chat during the day or evening. With over 27 years of experience with back up DJ's and equipment. We have an extensive music database and will provide any genre of music including the latest charts which are downloaded every week plus any favourite tracks and artists of your choice as well as any requests on the night. Any music list provided prior to your event will be guaranteed on the night. We can build a frame to fit in any space or venue. We would keep in constant contact with you to make sure your event is just perfect for you. We proudly boast that we offer some amazing light shows and we have never received a complaint EVER! Just to reassure you and offer you peace of mind, we have a 100% track record meaning that all of our clients have been more than happy with our services and we have never let anyone down. Unfortunately there are a lot of DJ’s out there who will offer you a service and just do this as a hobby. They use outdated, unsafe equipment with no insurance and if they get a better offer, they simply just don’t bother to turn up at your venue. We will arrive at your venue in plenty of time, we don't have to rush home from work, jump in the shower and load the van before we even think about getting to you. We have public liability insurance up to £10,000,000. All of our equipment is fully PAT tested and we are enhanced DBS approved. We are members of NADJ (National Association of DJ’s) AMPDJ (Alliance of mobile & party DJ's) and also the WDJA (Wedding DJ Association) which shows that we are professional wedding DJ specialists. Retro DJ provide more equipment and lighting than your average DJ. Even though we offer ample lighting, we can also offer extra mood up lighting for your walls which will enhance your room and compliment your chosen colour theme and decor. Great wedding party DJ

Thanks Steve for a great night. We hired Steve for our wedding in November 2022 and he played all the tunes we had asked for as well as providing great lighting and a really nice atmosphere for our reception. Steve was very professional, turned up early and got setup without my even noticing. Everything was totally streamlined and the music was at just the right volume so we could still talk to each other. He seems a really nice bloke as well. Thanks again Steve.

Great night with great music.

Great DJ playing great tunes from every various decade's (My 40th birthday). It made the night a real success! Also his communication before 5he night was excellent. Very prompt with responses. Steve has q professional and friendly manor.

Great evening. Recommended.

Everyone had a great evening at our diner and dancing formal event. The DJ read the crowd brilliantly and accepted our requests. The atmosphere created in the area thanks to the up lighting was brilliant.

Wedfest Success!

Steve was flawless. Absolutely brilliant set up and music was pumping all night. We had the best "Wedfest" and Steve absolutely made that possible. The lights completely finished off the whole look of the marquee and the dance floor was never empty. Can't sing his praises enough, and excellent value for money! The whole process was professional as well as relaxed. We were in regular communication by email and phone because he really wanted to make sure we got what we wanted. Thank you so much Steve. You absolute legend.

Great DJ

I found Steve via the internet and so had no personal recommendation. However, the reviews were so good and once I had spoken to him, felt comfortable in going ahead for the booking. I wasn't disappointed. He did a fantastic job. He was polite and was very quiet setting up as the party began. He played 60 and 70's music which was perfect for the age group. He got everyone up and dancing and was amazed at our energy! I would recommend him to others.

Would definately recommend

We recently hired Steve for one of our corporate events, he was a pleasure to deal with and the dance floor was heaving all night! Nobody was ready for the disco to end when it did which is always a good sign!

First Class Disco would recommend at any time

Both the disco and the lighting were brilliant. Steve also gave the opportunity for individuals to choose songs to be played which made it a great time. He made my daughter's Sweet 16 go with a bang!
