RoXi and the Blue Cats

Rockingly good North London based dynamic 5 piece blues band playing a wide ranging and eclectic mix of sizzling hot to cool vibed blues, jazz blues, country blues, blues rock, blues orientated covers and original material appropriate for any blues lovers occassion. Their extensive set list includes covers of popular songs by a wide variety of artists including Adele, Albert King, BB King, Big Mama Thornton, Blues Brothers, Bo Diddly, Buddy Guy, CCR, Chuck Berry, Colin James, Duffy, Eric Clapton, Etta James, Fleetwood Mac, Free, Gary Moore, Howlin' Wolf, James Brown, Janis Joplin, John Mayall, Johnny Winter, Led Zeppelin, Little Milton, Magic Sam, Muddy Waters, Otis Rush, Ray Charles, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Sonny Boy Williamson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Susan Tedeschi, The Commitments, Tina Turner (to name a few!) and performed in their own inimitable style along with their own original music. Evocative emotional vocals from a powerhouse front woman, mixed with excellent musicianship to create songs that are dynamic and interesting to hear make this a band that is suitable for venues with audiences of blues aficionados as well as those who like to have fun and dance without ruining their eardrums!!
