Andrew Paton, Highland Bagpiper

I have been playing the bagpipes for over 30 years, starting at the age of nine. As a former member of the world-famous pipes and drums of the 1st Battalion The Black Watch, I have travelled globally, performing for the Royal Family and various heads of state at official functions. My participation in prestigious events such as the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, North American tour, and the handover of Hong Kong highlights my expertise. During my time as an Army piper, I passed the Class 1 Pipers Course, a prerequisite for the Army Pipe Majors Course. I have always been involved with competition bands, either as a band member or leader, and have played at major championships, including the World Pipe Band Championships, the European Championships, and the British Championships. I have also been the North West England solo piping champion. My extensive experience ensures a professional service, from impeccable presentation to exceptional musical performance for your event.
