Norton Green Ceilidh Band

Norton Green Ceilidh Band is an exciting new band based in Teesside, UK. They are available to travel to neighbouring counties, including Yorkshire, Durham, Northumberland, and Cumbria. All types of venues can be catered for, from small pubs to large halls. The band's PA system is suitable for all venues, requiring just a plug to get started. All equipment is PAT tested and modern, and they have Public Liability Insurance. A Ceilidh is a fantastic way to break the ice at weddings and get to know your in-laws while keeping fit and having fun. Whether it's the Cumberland Square Eight, the Gay Gordons, Bridge of Athlone, Strip the Willow, or St Bernard's, Norton Green is the band for the occasion. When you need a breather, they continue to entertain with their music. Members of the Band: - Keith Burnett: He has been calling dances for over thirty years, guiding participants step by step to ensure everyone can join in, even novices. He was also the founder member of the Cleveland Folk Dance Club. - Anne Jones, Accordionist: She has been playing for over forty years, offering a selection of Irish, Scottish, English, and American tunes at a lively dance tempo. Between dances, she plays a variety of music, including foxtrots, sing-alongs, ballads, and modern pieces.
