Pantonic All Stars Steel Orchestra is a renowned youth ensemble from Stockport, celebrated for their vibrant steel music.
Pantonic All Stars Steel Orchestra, formed in 1985, consists of up to 25 talented young musicians aged 12 to 25. They have earned acclaim as one of the UK's leading youth steel orchestras, winning the Outstanding Performance Award twice at the National 'Music for Youth' Festival. The group has performed at prestigious venues such as St. David's Hall in Cardiff and the Royal Albert Hall in London, with four appearances since 1989. Their music, a blend of traditional Caribbean sounds and modern tunes, showcases the versatility of steel pans. The orchestra has also been featured on radio and television, and has performed across Europe, including a tour in Barbados and a recent visit to Denmark in 2009. They regularly appear at Caribbean evenings, shows, carnivals, and shopping centres throughout the UK.
