Neil Young is one of the most respected and prolific rock/folk guitarists and songwriters of the last 50 years. Born and raised in Canada, he first became well-known as the lead guitarist, songwriter, and occasional vocalist of the legendary 1960s band Buffalo Springfield. After the band's breakup, Young embarked on a successful and enduring solo career, which remains active today. He has also played in the legendary supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and with the ever-reliable Crazy Horse, featuring on many of his greatest albums. Additionally, he recorded an album with Pearl Jam in 1995.
