Skylight Circus Arts

Skylight Circus in Education trading as Skylight Circus Arts, is a contemporary circus company that uses circus creatively for performance and as a vehicle for personal, physical and social development and wellbeing. Our circus school in Rochdale is a multi purpose training space and small studio theatre. Since 1989 Skylight has continued to provide social and creative circus activities to the people of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Yorkshire and beyond. Skylight works within education, communities, health and the corporate sector to offer participation and performance in workshops, projects and training. Skylight works with people of all ages and our team has a wealth of experience working with disengaged young people, older people, people with disabilities and those with additional needs. Creative output is strengthened by working collaboratively within a wide range of other art forms such as music, the spoken work and dance. Skylight produces new artistic work through partnerships with a variety of local and national creative organisations allowing us to enhance and increase the cultural offerings of Rochdale.
