Orpheus Entertainment is a long established and experienced professional Greek and international band based in the South of the UK (Featured on the popular Channel 4 programme - Come Dine with Me). Planning may be fun and exciting, but choosing the right event music band may be a task that could lead to added stress and time wasted. The entertainment setup for the client's event could be a solo performer up to a four piece band with a Greek dancer and a belly dancer which could be followed by a DJ service. Programme Example for Greek Theme NIght: - The show starts by the band playing background music while the dinner is served. - Towards the end of dining the young male dancer will warm up the audience and get them involved in the show (optional). - After dinner the belly dancer will perform with audience participation (optional). - The show continues with more Greek dancing and audience involvement...Get ready for “Zorba the Greek”. - Plate smashing is an additional option if requested (Subject to availability of plates). At the end of the show the band can play more Greek, English and international music. They may also provide DJ music on the breaks or at the end of the night, which has become very popular with many of their clients. The Greek band specialises in: Greek nights, Greek weddings, Greek christenings, Greek parties, corporate events, TV appearances, festivals and the like. Their goal is to provide the client with Greek and international entertainment to suit their occasion. Orpheus Entertainment is one of the very few Greek bands that have a young male Greek dancer that is part of the band. The dancer is there to demonstrate some Greek dances and most importantly for a Greek night will provide the audience participation and make sure the night is one to remember. Orpheus is self-contained, with their own First Class PA (Dynacord - Stereo Powered Mixer and Electro Voice EV - Speakers), suitable for most events. The Greek Band has performed in the most desired places, so it has all the necessary insurance and paperwork. (Public Liability Insurance - 5 Million, PAT Certificate, Risk Assessment). Orpheus Entertainment offer a solo singer or the full four piece band and are completed with the addition of their fabulous young male Greek dancer who will interact with guests and get them up dancing. A belly dancer is also available, to add an exotic feel to the occasion.
