Swing The Bridge is a ceilidh or barn dance band perfect for all ages and every occasion, with a strong emphasis on entertainment. If you're looking for a good dance and plenty of laughs, our experienced, energetic, and professional folk/rock ceilidh band is the ideal choice. The band features Pip Ives on melodeon, Gemma Gayner on violin, Geoff Sandiford on bass guitar, Neal Adams on drums, and Martin Young on guitar and as the caller to teach you the dances with good humour. We cater to weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, bar mitzvahs, or any event of your choosing. - We play lively traditional tunes in a fresh, modern way, often coupled with contemporary surprises. - To enhance the atmosphere, we provide our own lighting. Disco Packages: - We encourage our clients to book our ceilidh band and a separate disco package. While it might seem that booking a ceilidh/disco package would be slightly cheaper than booking them separately, we do not pretend to have the know-how of a dedicated and experienced DJ. We do not compromise simply to make more money. It is important that you have the very best entertainment and experience that we can offer. We are a ceilidh band, and that’s what we do best. - However, clients are welcome to play their own music through our PA system via iPod or similar devices.
