The Hazards of Yoga are a fun and experienced covers band based in the South East of England, comprising of 4 exciting musicians!. With a passion for entertaining and delivering high energy performances, this exciting band caters for all types of parties and private functions; from weddings and private parties to summer festivals and pub venues. Combining strong musicianship, natural flair, and good looks, they effortlessly mix lively contemporary songs with some feel-good long forgotten classics. The party band Mirrorball has been around for over 10 years in a number of different formats with 3 of the original members still with us! We pride ourselves in being a cover band that play cover songs with a difference. Mirrorball have a mixed repertoire of classic covers but also play popular songs that many other cover bands do not attempt. We are proud of our 'Dancey Set' comprising popular dance tunes such as Sing it Back by Moloko, Lady by Modjo, Starlight by Supermen Lovers, Cosmic Girl by Jamiroquai and Closer by Ne-Yo. They play all the great 1980's party songs from Wham, Madonna, Duran Duran, Cyndie Lauper, Kylie, Madness, Bananarama, Culture Club, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Toni Basil, Kim Wilde, Soft Cell, Katrina & The Waves, Dead Or Alive, Human League and lots more besides. Fully FunKtional - internationally renown party band and musical services for all events. Hugest of congratulations to you both on the forthcoming big day whatever it is! We'd love to come and celebrate with you all and have ten years experience and energy to put into your event! If you wanted the music to kick off at around 7/730pm (we usually start the 'warm-up' with recorded music), then we would arrive around 5pm to load in and set up (or we can discuss a 'quickie' set-up as your room is being re-set for the evening if you are in the same room). And we usually play 2 x 1 hour live sets but also provide all music between (unless you have your own DJ) which is tailored completely to your favourite 'wish-list' of songs, so basically we keep the evening rolling seamlessly between our live music and the recorded 'disco breaks'. We take care of 'business', while you get on with relaxing & enjoying yourself. Once we've agreed on times in advance, you can totally relax & leave the entertainment to us - you won't need to check-up, nudge or worry when we'll be on - our experience & total professionalism mean you can leave the evening in our hands (& of course if things are running late - as they inevitably do, we'll always go with the flow!) Our main band is usually our 8 piece and we can of course go bigger for a real red carpet performance, depending on your budget, and occasionally we can also condense down & 'lop off' a musician (this is more likely on 'off peak' days or last minute bookings) - it's best to let us know what you'd like to spend & then I can let you know the biggest line-up we could provide within your bracket. And if we don't fit the budget, maybe I can suggest something else for you as we run a couple of other bands.We also have 2/3 fantastic breakdancers who we regularly work with as part of the team if that's of interest. These guys do all the 'wow' tricks, flips and moves to impress the crowd, but also dance in the crowd, get guests up, frolic around the floor and generally add a great energetic party vibe to the event & are lovely/smiley/impressive & a fun addition. They can work on the stage/floor and around the room. For London events they are £120 per person. Our fee includes all travel, set-up, full professional PA, great lighting for on the band and dance-floor, 2 x 1 hour live sets (or a single 1 hour & 45/50 mins straight through if this works better or if the evening is running late) & recorded music for the other times (by your request or just a general mix to please everyone that we have at the event).
