Twmpathology is a five-piece twmpath/ceilidh/barn-dance band based in the North-West corner of Wales, around the historic town of Caernarfon. Formed about four years ago, all the band members have many years of experience playing music for dancing and enjoy dancing themselves, so they know what’s needed to get those feet moving! They play fiddle, accordion, guitar, bass, and percussion. The band has its own caller who will guide everyone through the dances with gentle humour and fun. The emphasis is always on people joining in and having fun, regardless of skill level. Martin (or our other callers) will tell you all you need to know and guide you through the dances with skill, patience, and good humour. No previous experience required! We play tunes from Wales, England, Scotland, Ireland, and beyond, all carefully picked and arranged to suit the amazing variety of dances we do. We also include a few songs while you are taking a breather.
