Great folk dance rhythms from the British Isles and beyond. 4-5 piece Ceilidh Band. Far and away the best exponents of traditional dance music for miles around and leagues beneath. Amiable and fun, catering for all dancing abilities. Sir Dancelot comprises: Graham Brand (concertina, cittern) David Cornelius Eger (fiddle, whistles, mandolin) Peter Timmins (fiddle, cornet) Matt Watson (guitar, whistles, jews harp) Richard Osborne (guitar) Based in beautiful Mid Wales, we have played together for over 10 years and are much in demand for ceilidhs and twmpathau throughout Wales, the Borders and Midlands. With English and Welsh tunes at the core, our varied repertoire spans Europe and North America, enabling us to accompany dances from the liveliest jigs, reels and polkas to stately bourrées, waltzes and an dros - and even the occasional East European circle dance. Working with a number of different callers, we can tailor our set to your needs, with an emphasis on Welsh dances and tunes if requested. We are also happy to provide music for non-dance events.
