Mariners Coffee Merchants buy only hand-roasted, ethically sourced coffees from around the world. All our coffees come from either Rainforest Alliance, UTZ, Technoserve, or Fairtrade Certified farms and co-operatives. Our coffees cup at over 80%, placing them among the world's top 20%. Our whole-leaf teas are served by the cup and come from members of the Ethical Tea Partnership. We probably serve the best teas and coffees on any mobile outside London. The finest coffees and teas are grown at the highest altitudes, often in the world's poorest communities. We purchase our teas and coffees through socially responsible shippers who know many of the farmers personally. Our supply chain is very short: the farmer, the shipper, the roaster, us, and you. You cannot get much fairer trade than that.
