Mariners Coffee Merchants - ethically sourced teas and coffees from around the world.  Hand-roasted by local artisans,  our coffees and teas are amongst the best money can buy.  Served from our mobile tea and coffee bar by the cup.  Based in York, we can cover most of Northern England and Lowland Scotland. Mariners Coffee Merchants buy only hand-roasted ethically sourced coffees from around the world.  All our coffees come from either RAINFOREST ALLIANCE, or UTZ, or TECHNOSERVE or FAIRTRADE Certified farms and co-operatives.  Our coffees cup at over 80% putting them amongst the world's top 20%.  Our whole-leaf teas are served by the cup and come from members of the ETHICAL TEA PARTNERSHIP.  We probably serve the best teas and coffees on any mobile outside London. The best coffees and teas are grown at the highest altitudes - often in the world's poorest communities.  We buy our teas and coffees through socially responsible shippers.  They know many of the farmers personally.  Our supply chain is very short - the farmer, the shipper, the roaster, us and you.  You cannot get much fairer trade than that.
